Home Rule Update

At this time, Home Rule will not be on the ballot for the April 7th Election. The Board of Trustees is currently trying to decide the best time to place Home Rule on a future ballot, if at all. To achieve this, be on the lookout for a survey that the Town of Foxfield will send out to residents regarding Home Rule. Your Trustees would like your feedback and interest in Home Rule. 

2026 ACWWA Water Tap Fee Increase

On December 10th, 2025, the Arapahoe County Water and Wastewater Authority (ACWWA) Board of Directors held a Public Hearing wherein it approved an increase on water and wastewater taps effective January 1, 2026. Per the agreement between ACWWA and the Town of Foxfield, this tap fee increase will become effective 60 days after notification, which will be February 20, 2026. The new water tap fee rate is $34,191.00 per tap equivalent. 

Recycling and Trash Day

UPDATE: Due to a re-route the recycling week has changed for Foxfield. The next recycling week is January 30th, 2026 and every other week after. Please see this calendar for the recycling calendar for the year. Foxfield is A week. 

Median Improvements on Arapahoe Road

Arapahoe County will make median improvements and turn lane extensions leading up to the intersection with S. Buckley Rd. 

Construction has already started and is anticipated to take between 75 to 90 days to complete, weather permitting. Work hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and use a combination of S. Parker Rd. to E. Orchard Rd. to S. Buckley Rd. 

The project will improve safety and traffic congestion for this section of Arapahoe Rd. just east of Parker Rd.

In accordance with CORE's ongoing pole maintenance program, CORE will be repairing the poles indicated on the map in yellow boxes.

As fall is approaching with a dry climate, fire prevention is very important to protect your individual properties and the community as a whole.
